Carla Victor uses her lens to portray the beauty of rural Alberta. As a photojournalist Carla captures the natural beauty and emotion that many of us miss in the momentary exchanges. The exquisiteness of the landscape, the people, the animals, and all who live and thrive on it, rarely escapes Carla's camera. Her work is familiar and comforting, with a nostalgic tone, revealing that the spirit of generations' past still exists across the Prairies. Through her travels across the West Coast of B.C. to East Africa and Belize, she has used photography to illustrate that spirit and love for one's home and land is universal.
