Osiris Cruz-Lahtinen

Born in Mexico City and an Architect and Youth Minister by profession, Osi initiated her love for Art at an early age.

She started developing her drawing skills and interest for different art media while studying Architecture when she was exposed to the masterpieces of Mexican Artists and other geniuses.

Her artwork is a combination of experiences, spirituality, love and playfulness expressed in bold use of different media. The use of vibrant colors and texture connects her to her roots in Mexico. While expanding and expressing her craving creativity she aims to capture the manifestation of the human soul and the purpose for which humans were created.

Life is a magnificent canvas of endless opportunities in which we can paint the masterpiece of our dreams if we are totally committed and do not give up.

In 2006 her passion for Children at risk increased to the point of doing research, sponsoring and becoming part of the solution to this world wide problem. This is why since January, 2007 some of the profit of her artwork is donated to the support of Home of Hope Rwanda.
